Wargaming IGR

A PC방 is a Korean internet café, and in Korea it works as a distribution channel, not just a room with computers in it. Players choose where to sit partly based on what the venue unlocks for them, so a game that wants those seats gives the people playing there something they do not get at home.

That benefit is granted per venue, which means the system behind it has to know which venues are real. This platform was the operator's side of that question: an owner registers the venue, it gets verified, and the reward that reaches players at those machines stays current as the venue's status changes.

It was built on Wargaming's own stack and APIs, not a CMS we picked. The platform team owned what was allowed to run, and our job was the shape of the thing inside those rules. I led the early development, which at that stage is mostly deciding what a venue is, what verified means, and which of those decisions the rest of the system will have to live with.

It went as far as an early phase and was then handed to Wargaming's own team to carry forward. We list it because the work was real and the handover is part of the record.
