Cakeshop sells more than tickets. There are tees, anniversary prints and a metal member card — the things a crowd buys because they were there. Selling them online meant a real store, not a direct message and a bank transfer.
So: WooCommerce in won, for Korean buyers. Korea for WooCommerce underneath for addresses, postcode search and carrier tracking. Our NHN KCP gateway for the card payments Korean shoppers expect. And the performance layer — object cache, page cache, image compression — built in from the start, not added after the first sale.
Everything ran in Docker, with the same image locally and on staging, so the environment was one thing to think about instead of two.
Staging went up in June 2022. The store never opened. The brand's plans changed before launch, and a shop with no products behind it was not worth maintaining. The build is intact, and the reason it stopped had nothing to do with the code.
It stays on this page because unlaunched work is still work. Leaving it off would make the timeline look neater than it really was.
