Prêt Pour Partir is a French outerwear label — waterproof parkas, reversible coats, designed in France from Italian fabrics and made in Europe. A small brand with a real product, which is harder to sell online than it sounds: a coat that turns inside out has to be photographed twice, and someone paying what a good coat costs wants to know why.
It started on a bought theme, the way most stores do, and outgrew it. What replaced it was a theme built for this shop — around forty WooCommerce templates rewritten rather than patched, a catalogue that filters and loads without a page reload, and the settings the brand actually changes put where someone who is not a developer can reach them.
French and English throughout, catalogue included, and not bolted on afterwards: the translations shipped inside the theme rather than in a plugin layered over the top.
Six years of it, until 2023. The brand is on Shopify now, which for a shop that size is a defensible answer; what we built is the version that got them there.
