The Lycée Français de Séoul is the only school in Korea accredited by the French Ministry of Education across every level, maternelle to terminale, and part of the AEFE network. Its site is not a brochure — admissions, the calendar, the pedagogical programme and the notices a parent checks on a Tuesday morning all live there.

The 2020 rebuild reached us through IT-Concept, who held the client relationship and the design. Our half was the build and everything after it: a WordPress install stood up on a staging subdomain so the school could see the site before it was public, the theme adapted to their identity and made responsive, and search behaviour and page performance dealt with properly rather than left to a plugin.

Then the part nobody quotes for accurately — filling it. Fifty to sixty pages, in French and Korean, carried across by hand: content, images, menus, the structure a parent has to navigate under pressure. A French school in Seoul answers to two readerships that barely overlap, so both languages had to be real pages rather than a translation layer over one of them. Polylang runs them.

Graphic design was explicitly outside the brief; the visual direction was not ours and this entry does not claim it. The site has been rebuilt since — WPML today, French and English, the Korean gone — which is why there is nothing here to link.
