The Alliance Française teaches French and runs the DELF, DALF and TCF diplomas as an official examination centre. In Korea that happens city by city — Busan, Gwangju, Incheon and Daejeon each run their own school, their own timetable and their own examination sessions, under one name.

Four separate websites would drift apart within a year. Instead they share one WordPress platform: one theme, one release, with each city carrying its own identity, photography and programme on top.

The base theme was built by Pixies Agency. Our work was everything after that — the changes each Alliance actually needed, and filling every site: the course catalogue, the examination calendars, the translation and study-abroad services, the pages nobody enjoys writing.

Both languages run throughout, and not the same way in each city. Busan and Daejeon open in French, Gwangju and Incheon in Korean, because their audiences differ. Enrolment runs through the site, so a course or an examination sitting is something a student buys, not something they email about.
