A patisserie does not sell from a warehouse. Everything is made fresh for a set day, picked up in person, and the kitchen can only make so much of it. So the checkout has to ask questions an ordinary store never asks: which shop, which day, which time, and is that slot already full.

It runs on Shopify, not WooCommerce, which is the right choice for a shop this size. The commerce problems underneath are the same ones.

Built with TGFX, who lead the visual direction, as on Geprek. Our side is the engineering: keeping the store running, and working on the parts of buying that decide whether an order gets finished — pick-up location, date and time, the surcharges that apply to some of it, and what happens right after payment.

This is an ongoing engagement, not a one-time launch. A shop with a menu that changes and a kitchen with limited capacity is never really finished. That is the kind of store worth staying with.
